Moses Miracle (Keajaiban Musa) atau disebut juga dengan laut "terbelah".Mendengar kata laut yang terbelah, mengingatkan kita pada kisah Nabi
Musa, yang mampu membelah laut dengan tongkatnya untuk melarikan diri dari pasukan Fir'aun. Fenomena yang terjadi di Jindo, Korea Selatan ini bukan karena mukjizat yang dimiliki oleh seseorang melainkan akibat proses pasang surut air laut pada dasar kedalaman air yang dangkal.
Ketika air laut pasang, maka
daratan tersebut seolah-olah hilang entah dimana, bahkan sama sekali
tidak terlihat adanya bentuk jalan yang bisa diseberangi. Dan ketika air laut surut, dasar laut yang dangkal tersebut seketika terbentuk jalan dengan ukuran
lebar 40 meter dan panjang mencapai 2,8 kilometer dengan posisi di
tengah-tengah laut, sehingga bisa digunakan sebagai jalan penghubung antara pulau Jindo dengan pulau Modo.
Menurut kepercayaan masyarat Korea Selatan, fenomena ini terjadi karena ada seekor macan yang datang merusak pulan Jindo, pulau terbesar ketiga di daratan Korea. Semua rakyat takut dan meninggalkan pulau Jindo menuju pulau Modo untun kemcari keselamatan. Tinggallah seorang wanita bernama Bbong sendirian di pulau itu. setiap hari Bbong berdoa pada 용왕 (Yong Wang), kaisar naga dalam mitologi Korsel yang menguasai laut Korea untuk mengembalikan keluarga dan teman-temannya. Akhirnya dewa Yong Wang mengabulkan permohonan Bbong dan membelah laut menjadi dua. Dan peristiwa itu terjadi setiap tahun di musim semi.
Biasanya saat terjadi fenomena ini pemerintah Korea Selatan menyelenggarakan festival yang namanya "Jindo sea Parting Road Festival (Yeongdeung Festival)" dimana semua wisatawan baik lokal maupun asing bisa berpartisipasi meramaikan festival ini. Mulai acara jalan bareng di sepanjang jalan moses miracle ini, menikmati sunset dari 'tengah' laut, sampai menikmati aneka lagu, tarian dan permainan tradisional korea. Tertarik?
